HOW TO TREAT OILY SKIN TYPES

Oily skin is characterized by excess sebum/oil production.
The pores size is larger and holds more oil.
This type of skin requires more CLEANSING and EXFOLIATING than other skin types.
The pores get clogged with oil and dead skin cell build-up.
Blemishes and blackheads are very common for oily skin.

Over cleansing can make it even worse. Stripping the skin can irritate it.
A lot of people used SOAP to cleanse the skin. What does it do to the skin?
It over dries the skin and disturbs the balance of the body’s protection mechanism which tries to produce additional oil.

Home care regiment for OILY skin:
1) Cleanser: Face wash (foamy)
2) Exfoliant: Chemical (not scrub, because scrub clogs the pores and damages the skin)

Ingredients should include: AHA ( glycolic acid) or BHA( salicylic acid)
Those exfoliant works by dissolving bonds between dead cells and lets skin breathe.

3) Mask: Clay (setting)mask- draws impurities to the surface of the skin as they dry and tightens.
4) Moisturizers: have to be WATER-BASE, OIL-FREE products.

One of my best products is SERUM. It provides better penetration and effect to your skin.
SERUMS are highly concentrated and intensive correctors.
Oily skin should avoid products with ingredients like: coconut oil and palm oil.

I hope my information was helpful for all of you.
