That technique is MICRODERMABRASION. It is a quick solution for many skin challenges, including ACNE SCARS, DULL SKIN, HYPERPIGMENTATION, REMOVAL OF FINE LINES.
Microdermabrasion stimulates the production of skin cells, collagen production, reduces oiliness and helps remove blackheads.
That treatment can be used on ALL SKIN TYPES ... it has no side effects.

Important tips how to protect our skin in fall and winter time:

Our skin in that time of year is drier, dehydrated and more sensitive.
Skin has more broken capillaries.
It is very important to protect our skin from changes of temperature. Apply heavier creamers than in summer time. Use night cream and also eye cream with the serum. We have to exfoliate and mask skin twice a week to help unclog the pores.
Winter time is perfect to perform chemical peels. Peels improve the texture of the skin and improve elastic and collagen production in our skin.

Important Tips how to protect our skin in Summer time

In the summer time we have to be extremely careful about our skin.

Number one is a SUNSCREEN. Everybody have to wear a sunscreen of at least SPF 20.
There is also moisturizer with SPF that’s even better.
Apply sunscreen after swimming or any activities that result in heavy perspiration.
Avoid exposure to the sun during peak hours, when UV exposure is highest. This is usually between 10a.m and 3p.m
Check the expiration date printed on the bottle to make sure that the sunscreen has not expired.
The sunscreens have to be with special ingredients: zinc oxide, titanium dioxide.
For oily skin, sunscreen has to be oil-free
I recommend NEUTROGENA. VISIBLY EVEN, DAILY MOISTURIZER SPF 30.
Non-comedogenic (which means doesn’t clogged pores),
Made out of soy plant. It reduces dark spots.

Rosacea skin

Rosacea skin
These types of skin very similar to sensitive skin condition. Rosacea is characterized by redness, dilation of blood vessels and in severe cases, the formation of papules and pustules. The cause is unknown and usually genetically condition which is hard to treat. Soothing and calming treatment will help calm the skin and decrease the inflammation.

Acne skin

There are 4 grads of acne.
Esthetician treat only 1 and 2 level. We have also teenagers or adult acne.
Acne characterized by breakouts, comedones, and to disfiguring cysts and scarring.
There are few causes of acne:
- Clogged pores
- Bacteria
- Cosmetics and products
- Hormones, stress and food
Comedogenic ingredients can cause cells to build up than we have open and closed comedones.

After that closed comedones are formed. These comedones are the beginning of acne problems if they are not treated with proper skin care. So the open comedones cannot live in the presence of oxygen. When follicles are blocked with sebum and dead skin build-up, oxygen cannot reach the bottom of the follicle, resulting in bacteria growth. Inflammation and redness occur.
Another cause is Male hormones, known as ANDROGENS, stimulates sebaceous glands. High levels of the male hormone testosterone cause an increase in oil production.
Acne treatments:
1. Foaming cleanser
2. Exfoliate with enzyme peel, an AHA/ BHA, Benzyl peroxide( Scrubs are too irritating on inflamed skin)
3. Extractions very important specially those blackheads
4. A soothing toner
5. Clay mask is recommended twice per week, or sulphur mask works well too.
6. Moisturizers oil-free
7. Oxygen therapy treatments
8. Vitamin A and C is stimulates new cell production, clears up acne
AVOID environmental aggravators such as dirt, grease, sun, humidity, and pollutin.
Try relaxed, practice stress reduction and good nutrition.

SKIN TYPES OR SKIN CONDITIONS

Sensitive Skin
These types of skin are a condition, but are also genetically predisposed.
Sensitive skin characterized by:
- Redness and easily irritated by products and exposure to heat or sun
The right product for Sensitive skin:
1. Gentle cleansing milk is the best type of cleanser. Foaming, detergent-like cleansers can strip the skin’s lipids and barrier protection.
2. Best exfoliates for sensitive skin is enzyme peel.
3. A soothing gel mask is great for calming and toning down redness.
4. Moisturizers with calming ingredients like: chamomile, aloe, azulene, allantoin, licorice extract

You should AVOID harsh exfoliates like scrubs and product with alcohol and fragrances, color agents and preservatives. The goal is to calm and cool the skin.
That type condition is usually genetically but also could be from strong products, medications.

How to treat Combination skin

Combination skin can be both oily and dry at the same time.
Usually oily part is on T-zone (forehead, nose and chin).
The outer areas of the face can be dry and even appear flaky.
Combination skin needs to be treated both oily and dry area of the face.

Home care regiment for Combination skin:
1) Cleanser: lotion or face wash (foamy) depends on the water.
2) Exfoliate: AHA(alphahydroxy acids), or enzymes
3) Mask: On oily parts clay mask, on dry parts hydrating mask
4) Moisturizer: Used my favorite from Neutrogena little less on oily parts on dry regular amount.
Combination skin needs to be balanced and required more care than normal skin.
Water-based products works best.

HOW TO TREAT DRY SKIN TYPES

Dry skin is characterized by lacks of oil (lipids).
The pores are small or barely visible. After cleansing, your face feels tight.
This type of skin needs extra moisture.
There is other very similar condition of the skin which is DEHYDRATION.
Dehydration means lack of WATER. You could see flaking on the skin.
This condition is very common for all skin types.

Home care regiment for DRY skin:
1) Cleanser: Lotion or Milky
2) Exfoliant: Gommage or EnzymesGommage is combination of chemical and mechanical method. Enzymes or gentle glycolic peel (AHA)
3) Toner: Very important, give moistureRemember NO Astringent.
It is a toner, but has higher percentage of alcohol.
4) Mask: Hydrating bases. Non setting mask, such as cucumber or aloe, stay moist.
There is also beneficial Paraffin wax mask, fruits mask, which I also suggest.
5) Moisturizers: Occlusive products also protect the skin's top barrier layer and HOLD in moisture which help to improve dryness.
Drinking pleny of water may help.

Facial treatments and home maintenance will help stimulate the oil production.
Remember, it is very important to protect DRY skin with moisturizers and serums.

HOW TO TREAT OILY SKIN TYPES

Oily skin is characterized by excess sebum/oil production.
The pores size is larger and holds more oil.
This type of skin requires more CLEANSING and EXFOLIATING than other skin types.
The pores get clogged with oil and dead skin cell build-up.
Blemishes and blackheads are very common for oily skin.

Over cleansing can make it even worse. Stripping the skin can irritate it.
A lot of people used SOAP to cleanse the skin. What does it do to the skin?
It over dries the skin and disturbs the balance of the body’s protection mechanism which tries to produce additional oil.

Home care regiment for OILY skin:
1) Cleanser: Face wash (foamy)
2) Exfoliant: Chemical (not scrub, because scrub clogs the pores and damages the skin)

Ingredients should include: AHA ( glycolic acid) or BHA( salicylic acid)
Those exfoliant works by dissolving bonds between dead cells and lets skin breathe.

3) Mask: Clay (setting)mask- draws impurities to the surface of the skin as they dry and tightens.
4) Moisturizers: have to be WATER-BASE, OIL-FREE products.

One of my best products is SERUM. It provides better penetration and effect to your skin.
SERUMS are highly concentrated and intensive correctors.
Oily skin should avoid products with ingredients like: coconut oil and palm oil.

I hope my information was helpful for all of you.
