How to care of your face in winter time

In winter there are many external factors that can influence the appearance of the skin, including dehydration and aging skin.

Winter time brings our skin crisp, that create dry and irritated skin.

The ice cold temperature, wind and low humidity strip of your skin’s natural moisture. But don’t worry, if you follow my tips your skin will be healthy and glowing again.

Tips to have glowing skin in Winter:

1. Drinking plenty of water

The most important part of winter is keeping the whole body hydrated. Drinking water with the lemon and lots of green tea hydrate our skin from the inside. Green tea is filled with inflammation, and also fight with the cancer.

2. Switched to Gentle cleanser

Regular soaps or foamy cleanser dry out your skin, and make more sensitive and irritated. Remembered you don’t have to feel dry and tight to clean your face.

The best choice is Cetaphil Cleanser-will not strip the skin of natural protective oils, or emollients. Recommended for years by Dermatologist, it is fragrance-free, and non-commedogenic. This cleanser is gentle and also recommend for children and teens.

3. Exfoliate

When it comes to exfoliating its important make sure that we use a gentle one like Enzymes from Alba Enzyme Face Scrub, encourage the process of cell renewal without harming our sensitive protective barrier.

4. Hydration from the inside

Toner gives more hydration to your skin, but you have to pick the one with alcohol-free. Neutrogena Alcohol Free Toner, also Alba Toner is my favorite choice.

5. Apply Sunscreen

Just because summer’s over doesn’t mean the sun is no longer harmful. Exposure to ultraviolet rays contributes to wrinkles, age spots, and skin cancer (minimum of SPF 15)

6. Oilier moisturizer

You don’t need to run out and buy the most expensive moisturizer, on the market- there are plenty of good inexpensive ones on the drugstore shelves. My favorite line is Neutrogena, Alba, if you have more irritated skin choice the Eucerin line. Remembered avoid product with Shea butter ingredients, it may clog pores.

Even if your skin is oily, you need to moisturize – just look for noncomedogenic products, which won’t clog your pores.

7. Eyes needs special care

We need to take proper care for our eyes to maintain their health. Plenty of sleep every night might help your dull eyes. Apply a good quality eye creams like Patricia Wexler M.D De-Puff Eye Gel, or Neutrogena Eye cream to prevent loss of moisture and protect the delicate eye area from the harsh winter. This also reduces the intensive of black circles around eyes.

8. Extra hydrating Mask
