Easy make up application-eye shadow- Chicago area

As a makeup artist, I have learned many tricks to keep your fresh face and beautiful all day or especially at special events like a wedding or social occasion.
Here of few of my favorite tips I can share with you.

Eye shadow colors for each eye color:

- BLUE EYES: deep blue, taupe, and purple, black, silver
- HAZEL OR GREEN EYES: plum, brown, purple, bright purple, khaki, and forest green,
- BROWN EYES: bronze, khaki-green, copper, soft pink, brown, beige, tangerine, and royal blue,

These are only my suggestions so don’t feel limited to these eye shadow colors.
Step 1
Now that you have picked out your eye shadow colors it is time for application. First start with the lightest color in your eye shadow pallet. Apply your color from your eyes lashes to your eyebrows.
Step 2
Next take the second lightest color and apply to just your eye lid.
Step 3
If your pallet has only three colors you will use your darkest color next. This should be applied in the crease of your eyelid from the outside edge of the eye to the middle of the eye.
Step 4
Blend all three colors together with a brush or finger to make the eye shadow look smooth. If there are four colors in your pallet use the darkest color at the outer edge of the eye. Apply from just above the crease to the center or just below the crease in a sideways V shape. Be sure that the eye shadow does not extend beyond the eyebrow. Blend in with a finger or brush.

Next step is Concealer, you can mask those unwanted blemishes, freckles, or dark spot.
Of course before you put any concealer, make sure you clean your face first. Use a gently face cleanser to remove any dirt or impurities. Your concealer should be one shade lighter than your foundation.

After concealer is Foundation. Choose a foundation color that will blend in with your natural skin tone. Remember, when purchasing foundation, that your skin color will change with the seasons. In the summer you need a little darker color, most likely tan. In the winter, your skin will lighten to its natural color and you will need lighter shade of foundation.

Next step is Powder.

Be sure to have a good powder brush to apply your translucent powder. If your brush in a downward motion, you will get more of a smooth finished look. Number one is Bare Minerals Powder, lightweight and sheer for a natural look, natural ingredients, SPF 15, that’s all you need to, hear about that Powder.

With this knowledge available to you, you can achieve your own unique stunning look, and do your own makeover!
Learning to apply cosmetics properly is an art, but you can do it and look absolutely beautiful and have the peace of mind of knowing that you do.
