Halo everybody today I will be writing about my one of the favorite magazine, which is American Spa Magazine.
American Spa Magazine is full of ideas, and inspirations for everybody, an especially for Beauty Industry. They write about how drinking white vine and applying grape seed oil is beneficial to the skin. Grape seeds contain polyphenols radicals known for damaging the skin and increasing the signs of aging. Also there is so many studies show that grapes are rich nutrition and contain vitamin C. Grape seed oil I am using with any facial treatment, performing face massage. That oil contains minerals and vitamins it is ideal for all skin types.
My favorite article was how to learn a popular website that leverage the power of collective buying can help your spa or any business attract new clients. There are also some ideas about Social Media Secrets.
Right know there are so many great, professional products on the market, so it’s hard to pick which cosmetic is right for me. In that magazine you can find that product for your particular type of skin.
Than another my favorite article was about recent study of Botox. According to the study, facial expressions have a direct affect on patient’s emotions.
So, no matter what look we are trying to achieve, looking NATURAL should always be the healthy and the best choice for all of us.
Antioxidant in certain foods-green tea, olive oil, blueberries, salmon or sunflower seeds-act like SUPERHERO nutrients in the body. They extinguish toxin oxygen molecule known as FREE RADICAL, the bad by products of cell renewal that are also produced by pollution and sun damage.
Why antioxidant is are important to your skin?
Because they are supposed to provide the best protection against UVA rays and age-accelerating FREE RADICAL. But commonly held believes that eating Antioxidant rich food will keep you looking young, scientifically proven smoothes your wrinkles, or reduced a risk for skin cancer. Getting nutrition’s to the surface of your skin is just important as taking the right nutrition’s internally.
What is Free Radical?
Free radicals are highly reactive molecules that target and ultimately damage your tissue, and cells. They are often causes by environmental factors such as UV rays, smoke, chemical and biological pollution, alcohol, and stress. The consequences also include damage to your skin’s DNA, an aged appearance, wrinkles sagging skin, a dull or rough complexion, and an increased risk of skin cancer.
Here are a few Antioxidants in food that benefits to your skin:
-Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid) Important sources include citrus fruits, like oranges, lime, green peppers, broccoli, green leafy vegetable, strawberries, raw cabbage and tomatoes,
-Vitamin A- Involved in forming new skin cells, also helps keep skin supple and is vital for healthy EYES and HAIR. You can find vitamin A in: whole milk and butter, liver, oily fish and eggs. It can also be manufactured by the body from beta carotene.
-Vitamin E- Important sources included vegetable oil, nuts and seeds, peanut butter, wholegrain, avocado, sunflower, soybean. Also derived from salmon, mackerel, halibut and trout.
-Selenium- This ingredients works best with a Vitamin E to support the immune system, so can help fight infection. The best source is: cereals, meat, seafood, cheese, mushrooms,
-Green Tea- A compound harmed polyphenols, found in the green tea is regarded as one of the best antioxidants, and also reduced RISK for SKIN CANCER.
-Coenzyme Q10- This is one of natural antioxidants in the skin that helps the cells grow and protect them from the ravages of Cancer,
Best combination of vitamins is vitamin C and vitamin E and Selenium. These antioxidants work by speeding up the skin’s natural repair system and by directly inhibiting further damage says: Karen E. Burke, MD PhD of the dermatology school of Medicine department of dermatology.
A study published in The Journal of Investigative Dermatology found that vitamin C and E supplements taken for three months significantly reduced sunburned and sun damage.
In addition to food, consider using antioxidants creams and serums. So look for Organic products with ingredients like vitamin A,B,C and E, the enzyme Q10 and Peptides.
But very important when you buy serums, look for those ingredients on the beginning on the label with the ingredients. If the body is being treated with antioxidants from both the inside and the outside, it will certainly begin to reap the benefits.
From my resource I discovered professional and Organic products in Marshall Store, with a good price and right quality.
Since clogged pores are a key factor in the development of ACNE lesions, removing dead skin cells and unclogging the pores is an important approach to treatment. This can be achieved using alpha hydroxyl acids, beta hydroxyl acids, or microdermabrasion.
ALPHA HYDROXY ACIDS
Alpha hydroxyl acids(AHAs) are naturally occurring organic acids such as glycolic acid. They are topically applied agents that increase the rate of cell turnover, decrease the stickiness of cells, and exfoliate the skin. As a result, the compacted layer of dead skin cells is made thinner and smoother, and the opening of the pore is less likely to be clogged. These actions can be beneficial in treating and preventing some types of acne( blackhead, whitehead, and mildly inflammatory acne). Dermatologist offer in-office AHA peels in concentrations ranging from 20 to 70 percent. Glycolic acid is the most common type of peel. Home peeling products have recently become available from major cosmetic companies.
BETA HYDROXY ACIDS
Beta hydroxyl acids (BHAs) such as salicylic acid can produce similar benefits. AHAs and BHAs also have been shown to have REJUVENATING effects on the skin. They stimulate production of collage performed in a medical of salon setting. The main difference between alpha hydroxyl acids and beta hydroxyl acids is their ability to dissolve in oil. Alpha hydroxyl acids dissolve in water only, while beta hydroxyl acids can dissolve on oil or water. This difference suggests that theoretically, beta hydroxyl acids are better able to penetrate the oil-rich hair follicle to promote exfoliation.
Both AHA and BHA peels can be helpful for blackhead/whitehead acne and small red bump acne. The peels are useful to treat the acne lesions themselves and can also hasten the resolution of post acne pigment problems.
MICRODERMABRASION
Similar acne and ant aging benefits can be achieved from microdermabrasion.
Microdermabrasion is a procedure during which a suction tip gently hits the skin while fine sterile particles are used to polish and exfoliate the superficial layer of the skin. The combination of suction and gently exfoliation easily removes dead skin and debris. Blackheads often disappear as they are removed from the impacted follicle.
Benefits of that treatment:
-Improvement of acne, or acne scars,
-Smoother skin texture,
-Improve hyper pigmentation,
Microdermabrasion is a very different procedure than traditional dermabrasion. Traditional dermabrasion is a very aggressive process that abrades off the top layer of the skin and a portion of the middle layer of the skin.
That treatment I recommend in the fall time, because is more safe and effective.
1. Establish a skin care routine.
2. A good skin routine will help you to retain moisture and elasticity.
3. Wear sunscreen.
Ultraviolet (UV) rays are harmful to the skin. Too much sun increase the wrinkles process. Also wear a hat.
4. Avoid tanning salons.
Don't assume the tanning salon is safer then exposure to direct sunlight. You are still being exposed
to UV rays, and at a higher concentration that direct sunlight.
5. Stop smoking.
Toxins in smoking agents cause skin damage. Researched shows that smokers wrinkles at the young age.
6. Avoid weight fluctuations.
Weight fluctuations causes your skin to stretch and contract. Skin loses elasticity as you age and can bounce back, after each fluctuation.
7. Drink water.
Keep you body hydrated. Drinking plenty of water will help flush out toxins.
8. Eat right
Good nutritious affect the skin and can have a positive affect on preventing wrinkles.
9. Wear sunglasses
Wearing sunglasses will help you squint less. Squinting creates folds around the eye that can
become permanent.
10. Relax you face muscles.
Grimacing, furrowing the brows, jaw clenching all contribute to facial wrinkles.
11. Get a facial massage.
A facial massage will help to keep elasticity in the skin and keep wrinkles and fine lines at a bay.
A facial massage will stimulate blood flow and circulation in the facial area. Increased blood flow stimulates the skin and helps to keep it renewed and rejuvenated.
Tips to reduce the Appearance of Wrinkles
a) Use the Anti-aging cream or lotion
Wrinkles creams increase the volume of tissue cells and smoothes out the wrinkles or line.
But wrinkles creams cannot eliminate deep wrinkles.
b) Get a Chemical or Mechanical Peel.
A chemical peel is technique designed to remove the dead skin cells from the skin surface layer and re-stimulate the regenerative process.
Can Botox prevent Wrinkles?
Botox cannot prevent wrinkles. Botox injections will temporally reduce the appearance or wrinkles.
Ingredients in a skin care product work in the same way as ingredients in a food recipe. For example, in baking, butter richens up a cookie recipe (believe it or not, avocado could even be used as a healthier fat substitute) in the same way that shea butter or fatty acids enrich a face cream. All the various ingredients, whether in a cake or in a cleanser, must combine to create a harmonious whole.
Most ingredients not only benefit the skin in some way but also perform on or more big jobs that keep the product’s delivery system intact.
What ingredients do?
-They moisturize, using humectants and emollient,
-They bind, holding other ingredients together,
-They emulsify, blending oil and water substances together in a smooth formula,
-They thicken or smooth, making a formula richer or able to glide on more easily,
-They preserve, preventing the product from deteriorating, and harboring bacteria,
-They adjust the pH balance, acting as a butter to stabilize acids and bases,
We have different kinds of skin type, so every type of skin should avoid different ingredients for that type of skin.
Oily Acne-prone skin type should avoid ingredients like:
So, if you look for some interesting and good quality company from the counter I like personally NEUTROGENA, some AVENNO products, CETAPHIL that product my dermatologist prescribe, also ALBA. Cleansers come in many forms and should be used TWICE a Day.
a)Face wash- is a foaming cleanser with a slightly acidic pH.
Clients with oily or combination skin like foamy cleanser. Recommend these washes with caution because they can over dry the skin. This often leads to an over-production of oil in the skin and can exacerbate acne.
Cleansing LOTION- is a water based emulsion for normal and combination skin.
Cleansing lotions can be applied with damp cotton pads or the hands and can be removed with a damp soft cloth, cotton, or sponges.
b)Cleansing CREAM- is an oil-based emulsion used primarily to dissolve makeup and dirt. Cleansing cream is heavier than cleansing lotions. Cleansing cream should be followed by a toner or another cleanser that is strong enough to remove any residue.
CLEANSER BENEFITS:
-Cleanser dissolves makeup and dirt to UNBLOCK PORES and prepares the skin for other products.
-Milky cleanser soften dry skin,
-Cleansers contain ingredients to counteract various skin problems.
-Additional ingredients can help certain skin conditions such as sensitivity, dehydration, or capillary problems,
2)TONERS
Toners, fresheners, and astringents are all essentially the same type of product. These are liquids that are used after cleansing, just before moisturizer is applied.
a)Freshener- often has the lowest alcohol content (0 to 4 percent) and is beneficial for DRY and MATURE skin as well as for SENSITIVE skin.
b)Toners usually have alcohol content (4 to 15 percent) and are designed for use on NORMAL and COMBINATION skin. They tone, or tighten the skin.
c)Astringents may have an alcohol content of up to 35 % and are used for OILY and ACNE-PRONE skin. They help remove excess oil on the skin, but some are too drying and can cause more harm than good.
TONER BENEFIF:
-They remove residue left behind by cleansers,
-Some restore the skin’s natural pH after cleansing,
-They have a temporary tightening effect on both the skin and pores openings, helping to temporarily tighten these follicles.
-Some can help certain skin conditions, depending on the ingredients,
3)EXFOLIANTS
The term of exfoliation refers to the peeling or sloughing of the skin layer. Many types of peeling and exfoliation treatments are available, ranging from brushing treatments and light enzyme peels and plastic surgeons.
EXFOLIATION BENEFITS:
-It makes the skin smoother,
-It facilitates the extraction of matter that clogs pores,
-A faster cell turnover rate brings cells to the surface,
-It improves the skin’s ability to retain moisture,
-It helps products penetration and more effective delivery of ingredients into the skin,
-The skin is smoother and not as rough, which makes the application of makeup easier,
4)MASKS
A good mask can do wonders for the skin, and like most beauty treatments, the benefits have been known for thousands of years, Mask ingredients include herbs, vitamins, and oils, which can be combined in clay, seaweed, or hydrating bases.
Masks tighten and tone the skin, also draw impurities out of the pores and clear up blemishes. Masks such as cucumber, or aloe, stay moist and are more hydrating.
I was inspired to share with you my natural recipes, because I tried on my self, so if you have free time and to willing make those sample recipes you will be glad to prepare on yourself. I am huge fan of fruit mask or peel, easy to make and carry great ingredients that act quickly and thoroughly. Especially on summer time is perfect experienced to prepare you. Here are my favorite recipes. Good luck and be beautiful.
Those Mask recipes shouldn’t be applied if:
-the skin infection is present

3)Try avoiding tanning beds.
It’s not true that beds are safe to tanning.
4)Wear sunglasses that wrap around the eyes and have 100% UV blocking lenses.
5)Select a sunscreen that protects against both UVA and UVB rays, sometimes labeled as broad-spectrum sunscreen. Many popular brands will not adequately protect your skin from these harmful rays.
6)Apply liberally about one teaspoon of sunscreen to your face and least on ounce to your body each day.
7)Waterproof and water-resistant sunscreen is good if you are in-evolved in swimming. They need to be applied/reapplied twenty minutes before entering the water so that the product can bond with the skin.
8)Those who work out of door might need frequent application of a sunscreen with a high SPF, at least 50 SPF.
9)If you have sensitive skin, use a cream-based product, and AVOID SUNSCREENS with: tretinoin ( Retina-A, Stieva-A, Retiso-A, Rejuva-A, Renova, Vitamin A acid) which dried the skin. Look for the fragrance-free, hypoallergenic sunscreen.
10)UVA rays are reflected from all light surfaces, including water, sand, snow, ice, and even concrete.
11)Children younger than six months old should not wear sunscreen, but instead be covered and kept out of the sun.
Facial massage is a unique combination of therapeutic touches including facial pressure points, and rhythmic contouring and sculpting strokes. Helping to relax, uplifting and tone skin and muscles, facial massage is known to relive and stress, and opens and revitalizes facial muscles through various sinus pressure points.
A facial cleans exfoliated, and nourishes the skin to promote clear, well-hydrated skin.
Especially right now when sun is our skin is dehydrated.
Facial massage starts with the cleansing of the face. The skin of the face is exposed to warm, steam, which then opens the pores of the skin. Using the gentle cleanser and other tools, the Esthetician cleans away the dirt and makeup of the face.
Facial massage is good, because of many reasons:

Many people incorporate vitamin C like Anti-aging supplements into their daily regime .A preparation can be used to clarify and even out the skin tone, as it lightens dark spots. That vitamin C is proven to increase collagen synthetics, it aids in the healing of minor cuts and wounds. Getting the right levels of vitamin C may sound easy- but it’s a WATER SOLUBLE vitamin which means it can’t be stored and needs to be topped up every day.
For smokers your intake of vitamin C is likely to be severely depleted and you will definitely need to add more vitamin C, as a supplement or even better for your skin and health- give up smoking.
The purpose behind any real skin care is to give you that younger, freshener look every day. It’s goal to rejuvenate the skin in such a way that its earlier glow and health are maintained.
Vitamin C helps in different ways:
-it moisturizers
-it encourages growth of collagen
-it softens
-it exfoliates and cleanses
-it helps remove wrinkles
Research has shown that vitamin C is really the only thing that stimulates the growth of collagen. As we age, our skin loses essential collagen causing it to sag, stretch, and wrinkle. For the natural way of using vitamin C are lemons, oranges, grapefruit, and papaya.
I mentioned earlier about how you can do your own toner, which is: distilled water, and lemon combined together help lighten and smooth out skin tone.
Any research suggest that vitamin C may also reduce sunburn caused by exposure to ultraviolet B radiation and prevent the consequences of long-term sun exposure which can lead to skin cancer( sources: University of Maryland Medical Center, Bouchez)
For me Vitamin C is the key for the skin, you tried then you will know how it’s works.
If you have any question about what kind Vitamin C serum is right, from what company you can ask me any time, what kind are you using, if its works for you? Be free to ask.
It’s a simple fact, MEN usually don’t care about the skin, but if you follow my steps you can make a real difference in your life. So MEN are never too late to start take of your skin.
KEEP IT CLEAN: # 1
Men have approximately about 16% oilier skin and significantly larger pores that women do. Basically, this means you get dirtier. It is very important, no matter what skin type you have, to clean your face twice a day. For cleanser I recommend FOAMY CLEANSER, because it’s perfect for combination and oily skin types. If your skin is prone to acne, you have to use products with salicylic acid. The right SCRUB means EXFOLIANT is essential for healthy clean skin. It will remove dead cells and smooth the surface of your face. Try to get scrub with less ground bits of nut, or seed extract, better is ENZYME EXFOLIANT. They will tear and damage the skin.
SHAVING: # 2
Too many guys rush through it, or give a poor effort. Shaving is something that should be done carefully in its entirety. Many guys should use a shaving cream and razor that will give them a very close shave, but also protect their skin at the same time. I find very useful brand ( from my husband experience) like NIVEA to be one of the best companies when it comes to shaving as it relates to men’s skin care on the market. Their products contain VITAMIN E, and ALOE to help protect and smooth skin, as well as hydrate and moisturize. GILETTE is also best brand for razors, work really well, or if you prefer electric, because WOMEN TYPICALLY ARE NOT ATTRACTED TO WEREVOLVES.
TONER: # 3
Men are outside more than women are; environmental debris and pollutants are more a factor to their skin’s health. Toning helps keep the skin clear and firm.
